Managing our resources is all about making choices. Can I embrace simplicity and contentment and still buy the latest  fashion accessory? Am I a better steward if I purchase a cheap version of  the newest gadget? This month we look at the choices we make about our stuff. The wisdom and experience of our writers will likely challenge and affirm the decisions we make every day and reinforce our desire to use our resources in generous ways that bring glory to God.

Assembly Scattered is a second component of Mennonite World Conference assemblies that gives visiting Christians the opportunity to meet Christians living in the region that is hosting the global Assembly Gathered.

Once every six years, Christians with Anabaptist roots—including U.S. Mennonite Brethren—gather for a kind of global family reunion. Mennonite World Conference (MWC) is an extended family that includes 217 national conferences in 75 countries on six continents, all with common roots. The latest of these reunions, Assemble 15, was held July 14-19 in Asunción, Paraguay. Members of Meetinghouse, an association of Mennonite publications, worked together to provide coverage of the MWC reunion.
