Connie Faber
Editor Connie Faber, who works from the Christian Leader office in Hillsboro, Kan., joined the magazine staff in 1994 and assumed the duties of editor in 2004. Faber is the co-author of Family Matters: Discovering the Mennonite Brethren. She has won awards from the Evangelical Press Association for her writing and editing.
Connie came to the CL after working for more than 13 years in a variety of capacities at Tabor College, the Mennonite Brethren college located in Hillsboro. She is a 1980 Tabor College graduate. Connie and her husband, David, have three children and celebrated 20 years of marriage in 2005. They are active members of Ebenfeld MB Church of rural Hillsboro. Contact Connie at editor@usmb.org
Myra Holmes
Myra Holmes serves as the Leader’s assistant editor from her home in Denver. She began working for the Leader in 2003 and assumed the lassistant editor’s responsibilities in 2005. Myra is an experienced writer having published feature, news, poetry, fiction, devotionals and commentary pieces as a freelance writer in Focus on the Family, The Christian Reader, Standard, With, Rejoice! and KNOW Denver.
Myra is a 1988 graduate of Tabor College, Hillsboro, Kan., where an internship at the Christian Leader helped develop her love of writing and editing. Tabor College is also where she met her husband, Ed. They have twin daughters. Their family is active at Trailhead Church, a Mennonite Brethren church plant in Centennial, Colo.
Shelley Plett
Shelley Plett began working as the magazine’s designer in December, 2008. She is a designer with Print Source Direct, a publishing company in Hillsboro, Kan.
