Terry Hunt (left) is the pastor of Bushtown MB which raised over $40,000 to
purchase several acres of land in November 2006. The land has been
excavated and the new building is currently 98% finished (see pictures at bottom). The North Carolina
district churches are all on board to help fund this project, which
will also be used as a NC district ministry center.
Bushtown MB
continues to grow and this new facility is part of a major plan for
continued growth and renewal in NC. Chris Eidse is the district Youth
Pa
stor as well as Youth Pastor for Bushtown MB. Mission USA is currently providing monthly subsidy for staff support. Mission USA (The U.S. Conference) is also now providing subsidy assistance to be used toward the building payments to MB Foundation for
the next two years, as an investment in the ongoing ministry of the NC District.
Of course, the whole idea is to position the North Carolina District and the church to be able to minister in ways it currently isn't able to due to space restrictions. Bushtown MB already has a solid multi-ethnic ministry, and that is expected to expand and grow. In fact, the churches have a mission to reach many people who don't know Jesus with the Gospel.

The building project is getting very close to completion. All that remains is the paving of the parking lot and a few water drainage issues that have to be resolved. The parking lot must be paved before the church can occupy, and due to weather, this will likely not happen until spring. Please continue to pray for the NCD as they wait to utilize this new facility for the expansion of the Kingdom of God!
